Tetsuya Endo & T-Hawk vs. Konosuke Takeshita & Akito (DDT TV SHOW #6 6/13/20)

Another great Business Alliance tag here. This time, we have Endo fresh from his title win at Wrestle Peter Pan. He’s basically coming in with a shattered knee after Tanaka went after it for the whole title match. Takeshita & Akito spend most of the match working over Endo’s knee as a result. Akito does a really great job picking it apart. There’s even a great moment where Endo tries to bait Akito into a strike off only for him to go right back to the knee. Simple stuff like that adds a lot to a match like this especially once it starts going off yet again towards the end. We get some more of Endo’s signature knee crumbles–always a favorite–but that’s not what’s holding this match up once the finishing stretch kicks in. A lot of real fun sequences towards the end made even better by a ref bump allowing El Lindaman to throw some German Suplexes. All around great match that makes the most of what it has and never goes too long.
