This is just an extremely well wrestled and executed indie main event. It has the slick chain wrestling at the go, dashes of comedy at the start, and then all the big bombs and stiff strikes that you get down the finishing stretch. I’ve talked on this blog already about how much I enjoy Tony Deppen but John Silver’s performance in this really impressed. He really excelled in building up his transitions out of control segments and performed them with such explosiveness that it really propelled the match forward. It has all the flash you want out of the finishing stretch. A little indulgent sure, but seven months into 2020, I’m already nostalgic for the Before times and I’ll take it.
