Mark Briscoe solidifies his place in the tournament as the MVP of the gold league. Even with best in the world-level talents like Jon Moxley in this block, it’s Briscoe that’s felt like he’s really delivered every week with a high level, charismatic performance week after week. Here, it’s about just going hell for leather with a familiar foe in Lethal. Credit to Lethal here in upping the intensity of his performance for the particular occasion, you can really feel it in how hard he’s landing those chops compared to his usual. Briscoe even reintroduces one of his classic bits with the chair leading to the big dive, a silly thing but it builds nicely to a cool spot and got the crowd well invested in things along the way. Feel good win for Mark here, hoping for more from him in the new year.
