Brodie Lee vs. Orange Cassidy (AEW Dynamite 9/23/20)

You’re not going to get some deep insight on this match from me. It’s well defined and clear on its own. Its appeal is immediate and if you don’t like it, you’re not going to gain much from me telling you that it’s a perfect David vs. Goliath match up compressed into an easily digestible bit of television wrestling. Orange Cassidy’s small but plucky and aggressive, Brodie Lee is large and has the numbers on his side too. You’ve seen it told a million times in wrestling, it’ll be told a million more. Cassidy has great babyface fire and for a few moments, the match gets structured well enough to make you believe he might get the win here. A very good match wrestled by two highly skilled veterans of the game.
