El Hijo del Vikingo, Myzteziz Jr., & Octagon Jr. vs. Rey Escorpion, Chessman, & Averno (AAA Nacemos Para Luchar: Tonala 2/22/20)

This match’s strengths are about the same as the Los Mercenarios vs. Jinetes del Aire trios from a couple weeks before. The rudos get the early advantage with their brawling. Averno was the highlight on the rudo team for me. His expressive facial expressions and stooging made him easy to hate and once the tecnicos started mounting their comebacks, his frustration added a layer of fun to the match. Escorpion and Chessman work well as rudo bruisers here too, tossing around the tecnicos then bumping for them at the comeback. It’s a short and efficient match that entertains and wraps up nicely before going overboard.
