Abdullah the Butcher vs. Necro Butcher (IWA East Coast Battle of the Butchers 10/5/04)

Horrible match booked for the pun alone. Despite this, an excellent performance from the Necro Butcher to highlight some of his greatest strengths as a worker. Necro has quite a task ahead of him here in this match as Abby is pretty much immobile. This becomes clear right from the word go as Necro tries to stomp Abby down as the big man is entering the ring. Rather than sell or drop or even move an inch, Abby remains frozen in spot at the ring ropes as Necro wildly circles the ring to get some steam on some more stomps. In many ways, Necro’s the perfect man for this job. He bumps hard, flails wildly, and creates a lot of energy to compensate for the immobile heap of man that he was to work with. Of course both men get cut open but only Necro actually registers any physical effects from this. The match ends in about five minutes after an Abby elbow drop for the pin. So as much as I hate it, we can at least give it credit for being concise although in all likelihood, Abby simply couldn’t survive any longer. Necro, ever the giving worker, takes one last bump into the entrance set though to put over that fresh young upstart Abdullah the Butcher. Feel free to skip this one but never let it be forgotten that Necro was as good at wrestling as he is bad at politics.
